Much of the news this week involves rape.  Perpetrators, all men, and victims both children and adults.  Perpetrators range in age from 25 to 75 and victims from age 10 to 46.  Some perpetrators were convicted, with sentences ranging from 17 months to 25 years.  And who are these perpetrators?  They include: acquaintances (Article #7, 8), Access driver (#35), relative registered as a sex offender living in the home (#18) and others where the relationship is not mentioned (#11,20,30).  Other sexually-related crimes involve a special education school teacher taking inappropriate photos of children. (#48).  

 

Others involve physical assault by a residential care provider (#1) and a bus driver (#6). 

 

One involves a doctor withholding the wheelchair of an inmate for over a month, no reason given (#3).

 

Several cases of financial fraud, mismanagement, theft appear in articles # 14, 15, 16, and 21.
